Yup, that’s like 90% of the theory behind AB tests. The other 10% Are things like none inferiority testing (a null result could just be down to small sample sizes, so there’s ways of checking if your sample size is big enough to confirm that it’s a true null.Also the trend in derm is that people are ONLY matching places with ties. As mentioned above, the only way to get a tie that isn't family/partner/hometown is to do an away.
