Sig p320 max vs x5 legion

 · The Sig stock OEM trigger bar on the P320 X5 is DIFFERENT than all other P320 trigger bars (including the P320 X5). There are 2 main differences. One is the tail of the bar does not go up like a regular 320 bar (Sig cut that completely off about 1/3 inch), then the inside of the bar is rounded..

So as a recent sig sauer convert, to me the p226 legion was well worth the price difference (elites were 999 and legion was 1299 but dealer covered sales tax). A big reason for that was the x5 undercut which made the gun fit better in my hand and optic ready. If I was looking at 320 series, it would be hard to go with anything other then m17.Sights/Optic: As all new guns should be, the Sig X-Five P320 Legion is optic ready for the red-dot sight of your choice. And if you prefer iron sights, it has an awesome set of adjustable iron sights. Slide Lightening Cuts: These make the slide lighter and faster.

The XFive was quite a bit heavier, it was noticeable. At first I thought maybe it was the 17 round mag in the XFive vs the 15 round mag in the Q5 ... plus the Q5 has a lot of cutouts in the slide. The Legion feels easily close to twice as heavy. Both are tack drivers. I was a little better with the Q5, especially at the 7, 10 and 15 yard lines. This is page for Sig P320 (and all variants and calibers) take down lever and also fits Sig P250. Sig has been excellent with their warranty on the R1, haven’t put the R1Pro through the paces yet. Cant go wrong with the Holosun or Vortex for the price and using the Springer Precision mounting plate either. For what your asking I’d go with the Romeo 1 Pro.

The x-5, x-5 legion, and p320 max were all basically designed with USPSA in mind. The full sized 320s can all get to 22 rounds without drama. I highly recommend the 17 round magazines plus +5 basepads rather than 21 round magazines with +2 basepads. It prevents you from over inserting mags on a slide lock reload and bending the ejector.I run a P320 X5 in Carry Optics and while I enjoy it, the Shadow 2 is going to be a better but more expensive option for Production.
