Doctor said it could be tonight, could still be 2-3 weeks away, no way of knowing. I think I've had a few isolated contractions, but they were pretty mild. Have been losing mucus plug gradually for two weeks. Contractions with my son came out of nowhere that night, 5 minutes apart to start. That lasted 40 minutes then they were 1 minute apart. I dilated from 4 to fully dilated in an hour. The whole labor was 3.5 hours. When mom was admitted to the hospital she was 4 cm dilated and 40% effaced. I was induced for medical reasons starting at 1am at 38+1. I was 0cm, not soft, nada, no movement whatsoever toward baby eviction. My body overreacted to the cytotec and cervadil so I got my epidural at 0cm around 2pm due to intense pain making cervical checks impossible. Baby was born at 4pm on 38+2.
